My Publications

I am the first-named author within a number of peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on various mental health and medico-legal topics including an article on ‘Reforming fitness to plead and stand trial legislation in England and Wales’ BJPsych Advances, 2020.

I have also published a paper on ‘Civil and forensic patients in secure psychiatric settings’ published in the BJPsych Bulletin, 2017.

I have also written a book chapter on the epidemiology of mentally disordered offending, ‘Mental disorder and offending’ in the Handbook of Secure Care, Royal College of Psychiatrists, 2015.

I have also published an article on ‘Patients awareness of the mental health tribunal and capacity to request a tribunal’ in The BJPsych Bulletin, 2013.

I have also presented at conferences, this includes presenting, ‘E-learning for End of Life Care’, Glasgow, 2017.

I have also presented, ‘Epidemiology of mentally disordered offending’, Krakow, 2014 and co-presented a workshop on ‘Diminished Responsibility’, Berlin, 2011.
